Our exploding library of award-winning music films already includes 190+ top concerts, documentaries and series from iconic artists including Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Metallica, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and more. Each film is complemented with custom editorial and experiences from the most talented music writers and commentators in the business. In just our first year,we're off to a rapid start: hit film exclusives, such as What Drives Us (directed by Dave Grohl); global live streams, including the two “40 Years of Metallica” concerts; and top notch press coverage from Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard and beyond We are now seeking to build upon this momentum with a new valued teammate: Senior Project Manager.THE ROLEWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can organize teams internally and externally as well as manage, schedule, and evolve internal processes for an early-stage company at the intersection of music, media, and technology.This role is designed for an individual with an appreciation for sitting at the center of organization with a knack for bringing people and processes together. You’ll be working with all levels of the organization to build processes which optimize areas such as content onboarding, marketing operations, programming and new release scheduling, and content management processes, partnerships, livestream events, and much more.In short: you’ll be pioneering our future PMO and will be critical to help grow and scale an organization bringing exciting and exclusive musical content to a big audience.WHERE YOU COME IN• Ensure on-time delivery of new content and supporting marketing efforts while predicting potential issues and bringing the right folks together to stay on schedule • Drive strategic cross-functional initiative to completion while ensuring project goals are met• Create and manage detailed project plans with milestones and ensures projects are moving through the pipeline and deadlines are hit• Lead cross functional teams through strategic discussions, sometimes forcing tough questions and conversations to ensure project goals line up to higher organizational goals • Work with various members of the organization to evolve the workflow and processes necessary to deliver exclusive content to multiple channels and audiences• Develop and maintain strong communication channels between all involved teams, both externally and internally, of a given project or process• Recognizes opportunities for organizational development and acts without being told• Prioritizes and balances the many initiatives and competing needs required to scale a streaming video service• Provides accurate project status to executive stakeholders, managing risks, and driving escalations where appropriate WHAT YOU'LL NEED• 5-7 years of project management experience; preferably in the music, television, or video streaming services industry.• Past experience and proven success in managing cross-functional projects across an organization; technical in nature at times. • Examples of fostering, managing, and influencing external partnerships of the highest pedigree. Experience working with Artist and Label teams is a huge plus.• Past success solidifying processes and scaling a business.• Knowledge pertaining to the landscape of on-demand streaming, live video, and/or video production are all nice to have.• A bias for action, the propensity to break down work, identify the highest value items, and iteratively deliver valuable improvements.• A comfort managing ambiguity, competing priorities, and shifting strategies.• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization with the ability to manage upward.• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.• A mastery of project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or an equivalent product.
