The opportunity

The Coda Collection aspires to bring to life the stories that surround the songs that we love, and, in turn, deepen the connection between artists and fans. Across our Prime Video Channel, website, and apps, we have created a unique experience that combines a curated collection of 180+ films that bring to life the most meaningful moments in music and surrounds these films with an immersive, custom editorial from the most talented music writers in the world.  

Together, this experience aspires to do nothing less than transform the way in which people experience the power of music.  In just a matter of months, we are off to a fast start: rapid subscriber growth hit films such as What Drives Us (directed by Dave Grohl), global live streams (such as Metallica’s 40th Anniversary), and top notch press coverage.  


The role

We are seeking a hardworking go-getter that has a rich love for music. This role requires a love for storytelling, an understanding of branding, and a background in social media and community building. 


This person needs to be organized and has a competitive drive for success. This role will be tasked with the execution of all social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and will have their hand in email, paid marketing, community, and more with a goal of growing our following and defining The Coda Collection’s name. 


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Required tasks for this position include:

  • Creating and scheduling asset deliveries for use across social, email, and paid marketing channels.
  • Interacting, replying, and connecting with fan communities, channel comments, and partnered artists/bands.
  • Working with various members of the organization to deliver marketing assets across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Liaising closely with internal design and product teams to ensure content calendar projects are meeting their deadlines.
  • Pulling weekly and adhoc reports for paid and social marketing campaigns 
  • Participating in regular insights and analytics sessions.
  • Recognizing opportunities for organizational development and not is afraid to speak up when there is room for improvement.


Experience and skills

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • 1-3 years of digital marketing or social marketing experience in the music, advertising/marketing, video streaming, and/or content industry.
  • Past experience and proven success in creating and scheduling marketing assets.
  • Working knowledge of marketing best practices and an interest in business strategy.
  • Insatiable love for the way in which music from every genre and generation can bring joy to our lives.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across teams and disciplines (including product, creative, design, and beyond).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Not required but a plus: Ability to use platforms such as Asana, paid marketing channels, social scheduling platforms etc.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, etc a plus
